Todd Agnew on Bible Memorization

Todd Agnew talks about how Bible memorization has been so powerful in his life.

"When you are faithful to place the Word of God in your heart, he is faithful to place it in your life."

Inspiring!

Memory Verses for New Christians

Yesterday I spotted a great article on Dave Quinn's Passion Blog titled Memory Verses for New Christians. Dave says:

"I am a big believer in memorising Scripture to help you grow and stay strong in your faith. This is especially important for new Christians as it helps to fill yourself with God's Word and to keep you on track."

He then listed a fantastic set of foundational memory verses. Based on his list I quickly put together the course Memory Verses for New Christians. Check it out!

Thanks for the great post Dave.

Merry Christmas from WalkingBible

It's a fantastic time of year where we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. A time to come back to what is truly important and focus on the miracle of Christ's birth, and what that means for us as believers. What a truly precious gift! We pray you have a fantastic holiday season and a truly blessed 2010.

In WalkingBible news we are very excited to unveil this new version of WalkingBible. The new site takes many of the features of the software (and much more) and brings them online. Some of the new features include:

* No download required!
* Build your own Bible memory courses and tests.
* Challenge your friends, create groups and share courses.
* Take it with you in audio, video and even printable course materials.

We'd love you to sign up and join us. We all make those New Year's Resolutions to be more disciplined with our Bible learning and what better way to get started? Of course while we are in this early launch phase we'll need your help to report any issues. So please don't hesitate to get in touch using the red feedback button to the left, send us an email, or check my profile and message me on the site. All feedback is much appreciated.

Again, all the best for a wonderful Christmas.
