WalkingBible is a team effort which has drawn people from around the world to help write the music, shoot the photographs, draw the illustrations and write the code. Let's introduce you to some of the people involved.
Kris Morris has been designing, building, copywriting, managing and obsessing over web projects for more than ten years. He is responsible for the visual and interaction design of the new site and manages the day to day operations of WalkingBible. When not walking bibles he can be found strumming guitars.krismorris.com
Vlad Lenski is an experienced technical manager with over fourteen years in IT as a CEO / Project Manager / Analyst. He has been responsible for managing the technical team involved in the redevelopment of WalkingBible. When not running IT projects Vlad likes to go for long drives, work on his summer house and play in the garden.
Dimitry Borodski Dimitry is a programmer well versed in LAMP, Joomla! and Drupal. He is solely responsible for taking many of our ideas and making them into a reality via the wonders of Drupal and PHP. Dimitry is a Pastor in his local church. He loves holidaying in Spain.
Dan, Matt and William Weeks produced the WalkingBible English musical and spoken word verses. Between them they have collaborated as producers and musicians with artists including Matt Redman, Jason Carter, Chris Tomlin (US), Tim Hughes, Brenton Brown, Naked (Finland), Rokhsan Heydari, Carleen Andersson, Brian Doerkson, Warner Music Finland, SonyBMG Finland, Universal Music Finland, EMI Finland, Air Chrysalis Nordic and Vineyard Music Group UK, Nordic & USA. weeksweeksweeks.com
Andreas Tärnvind and Magnus Boqvist have been responsible for the recording of the Swedish verses for WalkingBible. They are both based in Gothenburg, Andreas made the spoken word and rap versions of the verses, and Magnus created the music and engineered the recordings. Andreas is a senior compulsory school teacher but for several years has worked with with children's and youth ministries. Magnus is a musician and music producer, and plays jazz, pop and theater music.aventyribibeln.se
Alexander Yakovlev created the WalkingBible illustrations. Alexander is an illustrator and book designer from Saint Petersburg. He is a member of the Artist Union. Anna Prusakova is Alexander’s wife and co-author.alexyakovlev.livejournal.com
Jacob Widén developed the WalkingBible desktop software and also coordinated the sounds and pictures for the program. Jacob works as a system developer for web development firm, Westarc, in Stockholm.westarc.se
Stefan and Carina Oberg founded Walkingbible and continue to cheer from the sidelines.
